Under the direction of the Women’s Imaging Supervisor or the Imaging Center Manager, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the Staff Radiologists, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform medical ultrasound imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

Professional registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S.) . Additionally, or included therein, the Ultrasound Technologist is required to have successfully passed the RDMS Abdomen (AB) and (OB) credentialing examination.

Adequate diagnostic ultrasound experience and proven competency as determined by the Ultrasound Supervisor, Department Director, and Medical Director.

CPR Certification.

Under the direction of the CT/MRI Supervisor, Manager of Medical Imaging, Director of Oncology Services and Medical Imaging, and Staff Radiologists, the MRI Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

1. Current MRI registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible (or) registry in another medical imaging modality with acceptable education and training in MRI.

2. Appropriate MRI imaging experience and demonstrated competency as determined by the Department Director and Medical Director.

3. CPR Certification.

Under the direction of the Chief Radiology Technologist, Director of Medical Imaging, and Staff Radiologists, the CT Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform computerized tomography imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

1. Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiologic Technology or comparable training.

2. Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).

3. Current M.R.T. registry with the Texas Department of Health.

4. Adequate CT experience and proven competence as determined by CT Supervisor, Department Director, and Medical Director.

5. CPR Certification.

Under the direction of the Manager of Medical Imaging, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the Staff Radiologists, the Radiology Aide is responsible to safely and proficiently transport patients and assist radiology/imaging staff with designated patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

This position will be responsible for the related care of patients ages:

__x__ Pediatric (One year to 12 years)

__x__ Adolescent (12 years to 18 years)

__x__ Adult (18 years to 65 years)

__x__ Geriatric (65 years)

1. CPR BCLS certification

2. Related experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.

3. Two shifts available: Saturday and Sunday from 700 to 2300 (fulltime 32/hr shift) OR Monday through Friday from 1200 to 2030 w/alternating Sat or Sun as needed.
